Martius is Rome's public testnet chain. It's an EVM chain executing inside a Solana program and settling on Solana Devnet — a stable target for deploying and testing apps.

Fund a wallet

1. Get devnet SOL from the Solana faucet (set your Solana wallet to Devnet).

2. Obtain gas via the Rome App — wrap or bridge into the chain's gas token.

If a Solana-side transaction fails with an "insufficient SOL" warning despite a funded wallet, set your Solana wallet to Testnet Mode / Devnet (see the FAQ).
